Write for us
We welcome pitches and contributions about the choices involved in making amateur theatre resourcefully, from early planning to the final return of shared materials.
What we are looking for
We consider clear, original proposals about scripts, rehearsal practice, costume, stagecraft and production coordination. Strong pieces offer a specific idea readers can use, explain its limits and respect the range of resources and experience different groups bring.
A useful pitch
Tell us the central question, the reader it serves and what the piece will help them understand or decide. Include a proposed title, a short outline and a note about relevant experience or sources. Please distinguish personal observation from facts that can be checked, and avoid promises of results that a general article cannot support.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page using the editorial question option. A pitch is not a commission, and we may suggest a different angle or scope before considering a full draft. Please do not send confidential material or information you do not have permission to share.
